The Lane Motor Museum in Nashville.

The Lane Museum is in Nashville and I occasionally get a chance to get to that part of the country (my sister lives there). So whenever I do get to Nashville, I get over to the Lane. If you’re ever in Nashville with an afternoon on your hands, go by. And pony up with the extra six bucks for the basement tour. Here’s a link to the site.

This Tatra is probably my favorite car at the Lane. Amazing vehicle. Red leather interior with that air cooled V8 in the back. They have a lot of Tatra’s there and they’re all amazing machines.

There is a special section of Jeff Lane’s favorite cars. He’s got an amazingly perfect 1957 Citroen DS and a Citroen SM there as some of his favorites in the museum. Great taste jeff! Honestly, that 1957 DS is as perfect as the day it left the factory. Interior is absolutely perfect, paint, trim, everything is perfect. Even the really hard to find parts are like new. Never seen anything like it. And the SM looks amazing in person. It’s hovering just a few inches off the ground. Pictures of these things don’t do them justice. They really are a dramatically brilliant desing.
Awesome pictures Chris. Thanks so much for sharing with us DS folks on the site!
