A study in improv.

What happens when you get a crack in a hard to find radiator hose? Some glue, a bolt, some big fat washers and some rubber gaskets.
It lasted several months but after a while, the hot coolant (odd term eh?) melted down the rubber cement and it blew all over.
Interesting discovery though.
When the coolant blows all over the engine, the spark plug tubes fill with coolant and short out the spark plugs and runs badly. The solution? I stopped at Target and bought a box of tampons. They were long enough to fit down the opening and absorb all the coolant. Fired right back up and went home.
So note to any DS owner. Keep some tampons in your tool kit. Just don’t show anyone.
